The Human Body

This morning we had a fabulous first day of our Little Learners group.  Miss Mandy and Dr. Armstrong came and taught us about anatomy and the wonderful machine that our bodies are.
 Braden, Hiram, Dylan, Carter, Sadie, Ester
 Jack, Carter and Sadie get their bodies traced.

We learned about some of our insides and what they do for us;
the brain, heart, kidney, bladder and bones.

 Then we learned about our senses.  We had fun with our sense of touch, smell and taste....is that a pickle...onion...or smelly shoe???

 We learned about our teeth and what junk food and soda do to them.
 Special guest, Dr. Armstrong came and taught us about what our
healthy reflexes, ears, throat, heart and lungs look and sound like.

Next is off for a work out.  Gotta keep healthy! Come on kids!

Lastly, some good "brain" food.
Thanks to Miss Mandy for an awesome science day!
